LegacyWorks by Legacy Ministries, Inc. provides services to youth ages 14-19 with social support, life skills training and workforce development to increase graduation rates and promote equitable skill attainment for success in the workforce.
Youth can enter our programs by referral through partnering agencies and applying for employment. The youth employees have scheduled part-time hours completing tasks related to the LegacyWorks program they have applied for. They also take part in uniquely designed curriculum that includes developmental workshops, success plans, and eventual transition plans to increase their professionalism, workplace confidence, and lead to job placement or further education.
Through their employment, they can work through a four-tiered system based on their employment status and developmental stage. These tiers involve advancement in their job as well as personal and professional development.
